K'AI

The First AI-Powered OS Built by a Chef, for Chefs.

K'AI is a Culinary Operating System. It handles the paperwork, the numbers, and the compliance records — so chefs can go back to the kitchen.

What K'AI Does

Compliance Records

Scan permits, certificates, seafood tags, and pest control records. K'AI reads them, tracks expiration dates, and warns you before they lapse. Temperature logs and corrective actions live in the same system.

Recipe Costing

Vendor invoices are scanned into line items. Recipes cost themselves from real invoice prices, with unit conversions and version history. Price changes surface as they happen.

Vendor & Ordering

A living record of what you buy and what it costs. Order sheets, price trends, and duplicate detection across vendors.

Audit Packet

When an inspector comes, K'AI assembles what you have on file into a single document — organized, dated, and printable.

What K'AI is not

K'AI does not replace your physical paperwork, does not submit anything to any agency, and does not render legal conclusions. It organizes what you already have and tells you what is missing.

The Chef Behind K'AI

Led by Rakmin Lee, an Executive Chef with over 20 years of world-class culinary experience in the luxury hospitality industry, including roles at Four Seasons, Park Hyatt, and The Benjamin Royal Sonesta New York.

Chef Lee's vision for K'AI transcends the simple automation of tasks. He envisions a future where AI and chefs do not compete for space, but coexist in a powerful partnership. His goal is to position AI as the ultimate executive assistant — an invisible force that absorbs the administrative burdens and operational data of the kitchen.

K'AI is designed to restore the balance of the kitchen, allowing chefs to return to their true calling: focusing purely on the artistry and soul of cooking.
